ALPENA HOUSE - Investigation 10/17/2021 - Alpena, Michigan

SSSOMPI Team was contacted by the owners of a house in Alpena.  They had purchased the home saving it from being demolished.  While working to restore the home one of the homeowners swears, he is hearing a man and a little girl saying, "thank you".  He has heard them at the top of stairs and while sitting on the front stoop taking a break.

The house has great history as well.  It was a speakeasy and a hiding spot during prohibition. One of the first 3 houses built in Alpena.  Possibly (not confirmed)  associated with the Purple Gang.

After the homeowners contacted the SSSPOMPI Team about the goings on in the house, an older woman stopped by the house and said that she was born in the upstairs of this house.  She  told them that a judge of the town originally built it the house.  Also, she had a friend that had lived in the house roughly 40 years ago and that her friend told her she would hear a dad and a little girl playing.

The owner went to the city of Alpena, the city clerk supplied him with some dates and names.
